Movement in Light
Inner Nirvana
Photo by Cynthia Sharp. Poem by Deborah L. Kelly & Cynthia Sharp

In a wonderland
of feelings and revelry,
the shine of aloneness
works its magic.
In the centre,
a light of healing
carved into
soul’s heart strings,
grounded enough to fly
allows
all the colours
I am.
Cosmic vision
clear and sharp;
wings, incandescent
crystal, fragile yet
strong, hold me aloft.
My being, centred in
the arms of Divinity…
higher.
I soar in wind
pine in blue
soft breathing steady
wings flap
the way branches bend rays
hold clouds
enter the realm
freedom so much larger
than any construct of
time capitalism society.
I ascend in the solitude of trees
that never let go
of the earth that nurtures them
epiphany of dawn
from the centre.
Mortal eyes close;
mind one,
inner eye opens; humanity:
strong, healing, changing.
Dreams fill the horizon:
dreams of light, dreams of peace.
